Took some artistic license on my take of the Grim reaper "tomato" F14,
Tamiya F14D kit mix match decals and lots of trial and error and learning as I go

HI RECURVE very very nice Tomcat you have built there very well done sir but i cant see what the scale of your model is as i have just built the big 1/32 scale super tomcat by trumppeter an lit it up with nav lights an cockpit lights an i was very pleased at how that turned out an i have not put my tomcat build on here as i have only just jioned this site an if you would like to see a pic of it tell me an i'll post one as mine is in the jolly rodgers sqr but your model is really super in that oreange

No, pinup girls are not typically used on modern aircraft, that's me taking artistic liberties, as for me these are more personal art pieces than historical accuracies. There's just something about the personality the pinup art from WW1 &2 on planes that I love to carry over to modern....
The scale is 1/48. The base kit was the Tamiya F14D,. Several oops and blemishes but overall I'm really happy with how it turned out

Haha awesome, I love the personalities it gives each individual craft, and yes there are tons of WW2 pinup decals, or even have your own made..here are some other pinups I've tried, work in progress and always trying to get techniques down lol....
Oh and yes I'd love to see your tomcat !

HI LOVE those builds look real an here a couple of my super tomcat build in 1/32 scale an its big an one in day light as the nose hinges up an down an one with its nav lights an such was thinkin of puttin the build on this forum as i finishied this build a few months ago hope the pics are ok on your thread if not just say an i will move them ?

CHEERS Sir yes that tomcat took me 6 months of build time with all the workin feauters an now the same on my super hornet as ive just painted the canopy an the missles then to fit them on the plane an then i can light her up like the tomcat as i love fittin in 2mm led's to bring them models to life

well why not have a go as i lit up a 1/48th tomcat of the pukin dogs sqr an a 1/48th superhornet also all lit up an im very pleased with them an any pics of your star wars star destroyer ? please

No sorry, I don't have any pics of that one, unfortunately I don't even have it anymore,
My next project will be a 1/48 f16 viper in desert camo, not sure what tail art I want to do just yet though..lol
