1/72 YF-23 to 1/144 "Quinjet"

This so peculiar project is looking very good, Q, a good amount of ingenuity displayed there, man.

Go on with it! ;)

Thanks for the comments, guys.

Definitely one for the blooper reel, but I'm glad nothing was damaged

Okay, folks.
FInal update time on the Quinjet conversion.

Painted the canopy windows with an acrylic metallic blue
Printed up the markings I'd need on some clear decal stock

Gave the model a cooat of Future, then put the markings into place.
I want to thank Greyryder over at Quantumrip.com for a piece of advice he gave me on dealing with my custom decal curling.
On his own models, he actually uses more of his clearcoat to coax the decal back to the surface.

With the decals down, I did some rough weathering, drybrushed with Vallejo Smoke
It still shows some rough patches, but this was intended more as a "proof of concept" model than anything meant for serioius display.

Looks great Q! Yea the sculpt work can be a pain
at times for sure! You have to sand and prime and look,
on a small model like this it's even tougher!
