Moebius does have nice build instructions but not always very clear on some assembly. I found I had to use my imagination on a few sections with the Dawn of Justice Batmobile.
Thanks for the info. They actually include a period color sheet in the instructions. I'm think of trying something more Hot Rod color.There wasn't a factory purple option for 1964. Here's a link to the factory colors available that year:

Black, white, grey, silver, what primer should I use?
I may save the purple for some other build. Right now I can't spray anything because it WON'T STOP RAINING!I'll forgive you for using such a heathen color on a Chevy, but only because it's a model....lol
In all seriousness, I would use either a white or gray primer. It may help to brighten the purple some.
