Academy 1/35 M1-A1 Abrams

Posted this over on MyHobbyInfo but I also wanted to share here. Working on this build while waiting for parts for my Miranda Class build. Straight OOB, more or less a practice build for weathering and building tanks. (aftermarket barrels are looking like a must-get). Started this when I was working on my M-60A1, so I figured this would look good in desert tan next to it.

Worked some more on this last night, coming along well. It's weird, I feel like I am spamming the forums with my builds since a lot of people are on the same forums.
Spraying the primer now and working on the road wheels. Once I have the road wheels complete and the bottom of the tank complete, then I will be continuing with side skirts and the top.

Worked on the build some more this weekend. Completed the painting for the road wheels and painted some of the areas in preparation for attaching the side skirts.

Worked some more on this build last night. Weathered the road wheels and "attempted" to use a dot filter for wheel bay section prior to adding the side skirts.

Small update. Only added the tracks and side skirts last night. Hope to complete the last of the prming and base color by tonight.

Well, I was able to wrap this up in between working on another build. All in all, pretty happy with it. Allowed me to practice with using the dot filter technique. Enjoy.
