Academy 1/48 scale P-47N

I took a bit of a break from the Lanc this summer and Built this guy. Officially my first P-47 "first of many" as I now have 2 more in my stash. ;D

She was a real breeze to build and I got her for only $16.99CDN at my LHS. My only real complaint(bearing in mind she was a cheap kit) was ,of course the decals.

I had to steal a couple roundels from another kit which I have since replaced with a sheet from Aeromaster.

The P-47 in any variant really is my favorite aircraft of WWII.

Nice job there, very nice indeed. Did you scratch the gun bay or was that part of the kit, and which kit did you use? Beautifu l weathering!
