So a little update on this, all the seats are painted and fitted now,cockpit seatbelts fitted ,the homemade seat looks fine,still quite a few instrument panels to sort out which is the next job.

So after a fair bit of sanding and messing around I've managed to get the two halves of the fusalage wrapped around the interior, a bit of filler was needed here and there.

Been getting the rotors together and painted,still got to paint the tips of the blades yellow then give a gloss clear for decals and washes

Got the rear load doors on, was going with them open but they just didn't want to fit properly.
The glass is in the front now so a big step closer to painting which I'm looking forward to although I still haven't decided on the colour scheme yet

Side cockpit windows and side door fitted and the the pylons are attached also. Just a few of those I'm bound to knock em off bits to go before painting starts.

Well that is looking really good . Love the Mi 17 in any form . You are making this look awesome . I have to admit I've always passed over amk kits in general . That may need to change now

Thanks first time ive tried an amk kit and all I can say is it's almost a really nice kit, well thought out engineering, nice detail just lacking that little bit of finnese with the finish in places but I would certainly buy another amk.

A quick update , had a coat of primer, this has highlighted a few areas that will need a wipe of putty or a little sanding but nothing major

So a start has been made, some of the many blue parts have had some colour,they will need a gloss coat. Some detail painting on the bulkhead and floor to do. Have made a start on sanding the IP's flat for paint and adding the Eduard cockpit details.
