Hey there, Fellow Addicts!
I have procrastinated on getting the final pics ready for my contest entry. I finished the Slave-1 at the end of last month, and yet here I am late again to get it in under the deadline.
Regardless, I have another model..or a figure that I painted. I actually haven't worked on a figure in over ten years and even then, I didn't do much as far as skin tones were involved. I had this kit sitting in my stash for about two years, but it was missing the gun so Inever committed any time to this. A few weeks ago, I found a matching gun from a Hasbro 12" figure, it seemed close enough to what I need and I didn't have to go with the replacement gun I found at the flea market.
Right off the bat, I could tell that it was going to be tough to make this look like Harrison Ford. I'm actually near completion with this one, so I'll just share the progress here.
I tend to build up my colors and being a little out of practice, I was a little more cautious than usual. This is after the second light layer of color..still can't see much, but this is how I built up the different tones of the face.
Finally, the face is done after a coat of Matte finish on the flesh and some Future on the eyes, lips and nose for that added dimension to the face.
