Dragon 1/35 Panther G, finally finished building, heading to paint. Still deciding on a final paint scheme, but leaning towards:
or
or
All variations on the same theme. Leaning more towards the middle one.
Shurtzen will not be complete on the tank, and planning on painting a couple of the panels in a completely different camo to make it look as if they pulled them off of a knocked out tank to add to their own, as well as making it look as if the tank has been "ridden hard and put away wet" without over doing it.
Shurtzen panels are made from a Paulaner Oktoberfest beer can. Slightly thicker aluminum due to its 1L size, perfect for replicating the Shurtzen armor, and plenty of aluminum from the can left over for other projects. I used the Eduard Panther G Shurtzen set as a pattern to make the panels.
Commander figure will be Alpine 35188, if I can make it look some what realistic and not like a clown!
