Hello,

I'm new in this forum, I hope to be able to contribute and help in the future, if I can. But I hope that it's OK if I myself start with a question.

I'm building an F-15E, in 1/72, and felt that the aircraft needs a pilot and WSO. I have found the figures but I'm having a bit of a problem finding the right color for the flightsuits. So my question is:

What Vallejo Air color matches the green USAF flightsuits of today?

(I have a couple of F-35s and an F-18 in the stash, and they might need pilots too, so the color might come in handy in the future too.)

Thank you for your replies! I have ordered that color from my local hobby shop now, hopefully it will come in soon, so I can try it out.

AK Interactive sells a set of four 3rd Gen acrylics matched to Modern US Flight Suit colors:

If you want to use Vallejo Model Air paint, you could consult a conversion chart that maps AK Interactive 3rd Gen acrylics to Vallejo Model Color or Air color equivalents.
Thank you for the tip! With the new color that I ordered I'll have 10 different shades of green (and don't get my started on how many shades of gray I have... and again no, it's not 50 shades of grey...) so for harness and details I think I'll use one of the ones I already have, and mix it with another color if needed. It looks like a good set of colors, though! I haven't really paid that much attention to painting recessed/shadowed areas in darker shades before, but maybe I'll experiment a little, this time.
