Azur Service Station 1/43

Hi Guys

Not had much chance to post lately, still soldiering on with the schwimmy build but got started on this new project.

I've not done any buildings for a while and fancied showing a couple of cars too so I bought a couple of 1/43 Heller cars, a Renault 4CV & a Citroen 2CV to have rusting away in front of an abandoned service station. As they are French cars I decided to go with a French theme.

Heres the Renault so far, its quite well detailed for such a small kit, plenty more rusting and weathering to go yet.

Heres the general layout, buildings will be made form foam board and plastic stock

and heres the detail of the first garage building

And with the car for some scale

I'd forgotten how much I enjoy scratching buildibgs so I'm really getting into this one, I can let my imagination wander...

Done a bit more on the groundwork of this vignette, gotta get it finished before the contest!

Still plenty more to do to the groundwork and then the car to finish.

I finished up the service station, I knocked up a couple of pumps from plastic card and some bits from the spares box and finished up the painting, heres the pics
