Okay, so a while back I bought a patriot 105 airbrush by badger. If you are familiar with it everyone knows it comes with a 5 tip or needle. And if you're familiar with that you'll also know it can blow some paint out. I just love it. But I wanted a more detail tip like a three or even a two. So I looked it up and the ad said fine detail conversion set. Perfect. I should have investigated further because even though it says Fine conversion it's a 5 needle which is what came with the badger. If I would have investigated further instead of just jumping on it I would have found out that the 41-045 detail conversion is just a 5 needle. But I think they could have made this a lot clearer to ignorant people like me. I waited a month for this to come to me well maybe 3 weeks but still.

now you have a spare .

I have the 105 , love it for spraying nitrocellulose lacquers .
Is it .5 mm ? , lol . I thought it was around a 35
I typically use a Paasche Talon . That will run .66 , .38 , and .25 needles .
the fan air cap for the .66 is fantastic .

Yes the tip is 0.5 mm that comes with it the end of the needle will have a blue knob. I should have got the black knob which is a .3 mm. I also think they have a super detail like maybe a one or a two. Did you know that also comes with a 7?
