Hello everyone! This is my first post on the forum, thanks for having me. I just bought a lot of four 1/144 Bandai Y-wing fighters, one of which was missing two pieces. I decided to kitbash it into an "ugly" - an in-universe type of kitbash. I'll post an image of the ship that inspired me. I decided to go with the wings from the advanced tie fighter as I feel this makes the ship look sleeker. I used parts from the tie advanced to 'replace' the missing pieces from the Y-wing. The beauty of this is that it leaves me with two extra Y-wing engines that I can then use to kitbash other ships. I haven't yet painted the pipes on the body. I went with the "red jammer" paint scheme for the cockpit and "head" of the fighter.
