Best micro (Mini) file set?

I have two sets, but cannot say either is best. I have heard that "glass" or crystal files sets are available, and of the finest quality.

I'm not sure.

I use the metal ones when a lot of material needs to be removed, and switch to sanding sticks with foam when the adjustments become minor.

I have a few metal ones but I have to say my best file is bulk bought nail files... They can flex so on and are perfect for the most part. You can also make them fit small areas. These I treat as disposables.

Looking for recommendations on the best small file(s) out there? I work on 1/700 scall ships and 1/48th scale aircraft.

Thanks

None better.

There are a great deal of cheap ones that look similar, but make sure they're an authentic NICHOLSON set and you'll not be disappointed. I've had my set so long, mine came with the little plastic file handles. I couldn't find any with the handles to show you, but these files are still the ones.

Like this, but mine came gray already on the files. Not necessary, but more comfortable than the straight shaft if you have to use them for a couple hours.
