Yesterday's birthday haul.....the 1/144nd Academy Memphis Belle 4 and a new work stand. This after her telling me you ain't getting any more models. Truth is she doesn't have to work hard to get me the perfect B-day present

One of my first models, a teeny B52, early 60s... and my dad had to help me attach the engines to the wings.
Then there was a Zero, and an ocean liner, a battleship... eventually a Thunderbolt, which is the first one I remember painting... gobs of Testers silver everywhere!
