Hey all,

I'm in a club with Scott, from Elm City Hobbies. He's told me a few times of how good this site is, and after having lurked around for awhile, I thought it's time for me to post.

Just finished taking some photos of my recently completed Syrian BMP 1. It's essentially OOB of the Trumpeter kit. I had lots of fun with the weathering stage. There are some details that I'm not happy with, but overall I'm content. On to the next kit...

Constructive feedback is, of course, always welcome.

looks fantastic, how did you achieve the chipped paint... did you use the salt method or the hairspray technique ?

Thanks to all. I enjoyed the build, for the most part. The kit had a funny issue; a lot of the "fiddly bits" didn't fit perfectly into their spots. By that, I mean that there would be space left around the base of the hooks, etc.

The weathering was what had my attention, and sparked my imagination. Most of the techniques I'd really only used once before, and I was happy with them for the most part. There are some details, though, that I screwed up.
