So one of the things on my "to do list" was to make a Battlestar Galactica "War of The Gods" themed display with music & sound from the episode.
I've got a set of Majestic Studio's '05 Wizard World Philadelphia action figure set. Only 500 were produced, and the only BSG figures ever made in all white outfits. Technically this set was billed from the "Experiment in Terra" episode, the 2nd episode the mysterious Ship of Lights appears in.

IMHO "War of the Gods" was the more interesting show, where we are first introduced to several new characters, including the mysterious Count Eblis and the Seraphs (Beings of Light).

So I've decided to print a cool backdrop, throw it in a case and add some SFX from the show. Of course I also need a 1/6 Seraph to go in it too, so here is a very rough action figure printed in PLA plastic.

This figure's torso and head are all one piece, and pushed the limits of FDM printing. The layers around the face and top of the head sort of fell
apart once I started cleaning up the supports. The top of the head actually fell off lol.
Of course I liked a challenge and was too cheap to have it printed in resin, so I wanted to see if my
feeble skills could pull this one off.

After the first round of putty work was done, I was pretty happy how it was going since the head was a total mess after printing!
Got the case with motion sensor light and SFX rigged up.

I painted everything satin white enamel, with matte clear on gown, and gloss clear on the head and shroud. Then I sprinkled silver glitter over the clear for contrast and light reflection (the still doesn't really show any of this), and then painted the head shroud with some translucent shimmering violet. Then I painted the Seraph's eye sockets with some cheap blue acrylic, I filled the sockets with Elmers white glue since I wanted the eyes to look strange.

After I'm done with a couple of my ship builds, its onto a BSG "Villains" 1/6 Display.
