All right, for my fourth build in this year's Big Spring Contest, I've chosen the Moebius Models Original Series Battlestar Galactica.
We start off with the obligatory "proof of start" pic.

Now, getting to the actual construction.
I want to say something about the engineering of this kit. Seams are fairly minimal. Assembly is very straightforward.
The head went together very quickly, taking only about an hour of actual work.

Next up came the main body and the keel assembly.

This was followed by the main engines.
I should note here that the rear panel is not glued in at this point, to make it easier to paint without having to mask the clear piece Moebius supplied for the engine glow.
Again, the seams were minimal. About the only clamping I've really needed to do was because of either tight tolerances, or from slightly warped pieces

The hangar/flight pods are also fairly straightforward.
Moebius has supplied matte paintings for both bays, although they won't be all that visible once inside the closed pods

Basic construction now completed after putting together all of the subassemblies.
I strongly reccommend NOT gluing the flight pods to the keel section until AFTER you have them attached to the arms. That way, you can get them positioned correctly.
The keel itself popped in for a VERY secrue fit
