Hmmm, all these kit look like lots of fun and I am so tempted, but have no traditional trucking kits.
Not a good time for me budget wise right now to be buying new ones

Although, I do have this set sitting around and really my Memphis Belle is sadly sitting there with nothing to keep her supplied

I'm chomping at the bit to start this build. I've noticed alot of flash with my PB 359 kit, and possible seam lines to fill. This should be a busy kit with some interesting challenges.

I agree. There is quite a bit to clean up

I have been a busy boy this weekend and got a fair bit done. Loads of flash, and the fit isn't that great. Pantherman

I had an idea for a GB – have our wives pick out a kit for us to build.
It would be interesting to see what each one would choose.
We could shoot for January 25th of 25.

A little more progress, the windscreens were a shocking fit so will have to come up with a fix for that. The front wheel hubs have alot of play on them, or I've just mucked it up when fitting them. Pantherman

It will slow down when I do the wheels and painting I expect. Never done wheels this big that need fitting to rubber. Also the chrome is a bit daunting as there is so much of it, I assume it will need a different glue that tamiya extra thin. Pantherman

So the western star won the vote.
Most of the chassis and axles have been glued together,pretty straight forward. Some air tanks to fit between the rails but there gonna need a bit of seam sanding and also the engine has had a start made.

Very interested in this one as it's next on my list for adding to the stash. Pantherman

Got some basic colour on the engine, more parts to add yet and some detail painting ,might see if I can add a bit of extra pipe work, then I will make it look dirty and well used most likely as I'm probably gonna make this this a workhorse rather than a showtruck,

As for the chrome, I'll be give those parts a bleach bath and repaint. It will probably look ok all fitted and up on a shelf but the finish looks a bit like a paintjob done in a sandstorm!
