A few years ago I bought a spray can of chrome for my B-17 for weathering. It really works well.

A bit more progress,wheels painted and got the tanks fitted on the other side, not to much left on the chassis now, itching to get started with the paint work on the body.

Lately, I havent had the time to work on this build, but I'm hoping to get back to the build this week.
I've been so busy with work. In fact I just finished 45 hours — Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. Monday will make it 53 hours.
After a good nap I'll be back to the bench!

Finally got some colour on, bonnet/hood still to paint yet, decided on white as I think it goes with red quite well, ordered some more masking tape of various sizes and then I will be making a start with masking and painting some stripes in various colours. I've got a plan lol! Then finished with clear gloss.

Well I was originally planning it to look like a workhorse but this may end up on the shelf all nice and shiny yet. Other than some 1/35 military this is my first truck build and there will definitely be more in the future, I think the next one will have a few dents ,scrapes and chipping etc.

I did a test run on my main color. To achieve the rich metallic green I want, I'll need to prime a little more coverage instead of the light splotchy coat.
So far I really like this effect this green produces that I might not need the pearl coat.
Turbo Dork paints need to be thinned.
