Haven't done one for many many years and need some advice on the rigging knots or ties whichever. The current model I'm doing in The H.M.S.Victory and I had forgotten the nuances of the rigging since that is where I'm at after about 6 weeks of getting there. I am familiar with the figure 8 knot they show in the directions but that seems pretty impossible with a magnifying headset and tweezers and thread.

Is it just a question of tie a regular knot and just do it or am I missing something?

Welcome Aboard !

can't help with the rigging , I'm sure others here will have some input for you

A guy that goes by Harry Houdini has lots of Youtube videos as well as tools for helping with rigging on sailing ships. I highly recommend checking out some of his rigging videos and see if they might help you. Here's the link to his website: https://houdinimodels.com
