This is a project I'm currently working on. It's been a long time since I've done this scale. I made the ammo can handle and the leather strap for the MG42 out of solder. I rolled the solder flat with a sharpie marker. I used copper wire for the loops on the MG to run the straps through. I painted the figure using various paints from Model Master, Tamiya and Testors. The mud on the boots was made with the AK Interactive mud effects set and some real Iraqi dust from the table outside my room. We have lots of dust storms here, so there is always an abundace of the stuff. I cut individual rounds off the ammo belt so I could reglue them to fit around the gunners neck (and that was alot of fun). I've got to finish the face tomorrow and then work on the base I want to put him on. Enjoy. Later tomaters.
