Dream closer than i thought....

Thing with the shipping, is I don't have any control over the price. I charge what Canada Post tells me to charge. Problem with that is, anything over 1kg (approx. 2.2lbs) automatically gets bumped up to Expedited US shipping, as opposed to the cheaper Surface or Air shipping. And the Mustang kit alone is about 1.3kg or so, just the kit alone, nevermind the box and packing material it would be shipped with.

You have to be careful with some of these companies when it comes to shipping. Yeah they can offer you a good deal on shipping, but how is your kit, or what you are buying being shipped? If they just wrap the kit in brown paper and stick a label on it with your address....as much as mail gets banged around, the box isn't likely going to stand up to much on its way to you.

When I ship, I expect the product to reach the customer in the same condition I sent it, and thus I take care in my packing. Basically I pack my boxes they way I would like to see boxes coming to me to be packed. Just ask Norm about the crappy packaging he got on his Kinetic EA-6B Prowler he recently got....oh right.....there was no box....just wrapped in brown paper. This is unacceptable to me.

and this is why i want to buy from you... i can expect no less than quality... i know you well enough and you wont screw up my 170 dollar airplane! plus i just want to give you business...

What if they make a nicer 1/32 dream than Tamiya's?

Coming soon, at about a price expected to be close to Tamiya.

So now how strong is your resolve!?

ZM kits are nice, but only available from them and one other online retailer. Not a Tamiya kit and not designed for the mainstream modeler, mostly designed for advance modelers with severe cases of AMS and rivet syndrome!

yea... uuh, i do not know if i would be able to do that, you see i am probably going to have a hard enough time as it is with the Tamiya P-51D... i don't have a lot of fancy shmancy tools. that kit looks super complex, though the detail is nuts, i would rather have the Tamiya beacuse i know i can build it. and that is going to take long enough, knowing ill only have a few days out of 2 weeks at a time to be building it, this means ill have to work on each part at a time when i get home, there are too many each parts with that kit.

that tamia kit would set me back 90 euro + shipping thats pretty good

I know right?! If ever there were a selection of kits to tempt me out of 1/48 again, those guys are it. The Ta-152, a Shinden, (The Skyraider is amazing, but the wrong era for me) ,and now the P-51. Spend some time and check out the extra and optional stuff they offer for their kits.

I saved up and got the Tamiya kit and it is just beautiful. Although...if I ever feel the need for a super super super detail P51 then that one pictured above might just .... nah, the Minister of War and Finance here at my home would kill me if I even start thinking about another kit... hmmm...maybe tho....lol
cheers,
FW190

No such thing. It's all in your head if you think a model is too advanced.

Step 1. Glue parts 1 and 2.
Step 2. Glue assembly in step one to parts 3, 4, and 5.
Etc, Etc....
Step 39. Fill seams and sand
Step 40. Paint.
Step 41. Decal.
Step 42. Admire your work and zoom around the room.

i just want the Tamiya kit, i have been dying for that kit, hopefully i get paid soon so i can get the darn thing and get it over with!
