Ecto 1 - I ain't afraid of no rust!

Hi Guys, quick update, been busy on the wall for the base.

I cut all the bricks in, peeled back all the front paper and used fine Vallejo filler to 'grout' the concrete blocks for the doorway.

I also raided the spares box for bits to dress the front, I made boxes from these bits to be junction boxes.

Then I spent a happy few hours painting, washing and spraying the wall and accessories! I also tried my hand at graffiti, and will add some more as I want to depict a really grotty scene

Hi Guys, I've done so many little things since the last time I posted, but I know I spent a lot of time on the roof mounted equipment, which added a lot of colour to the proceedings!

Also I spent a lot of time refining the rust and getting all the little details finished so I could get it all stuck together ready for some oil weathering whihc is the next step.

Anyhoo heres the pics so far, and yes I do know there is a USB stick holidng the front end up, this will be supported on brics in the end!

Hi Guys

Just added the finishing touches to the Ecto1 build, I've been over and done another layer of oils on the bodywork, finished the base to look like cracked concrete complete with weeds and grass throwing through and added the last details to the car including trailing broken cables and bricks holding up the front of the car, and I think I'll call that finished!
I really could do with taking better pictures but heres what I have now
