I thought long and hard about what I would build for this and it was a toss up between the 32 F6F-3N or this. Since it is more famous I went this way to quell any doubts about if it were marine enough or not.
Here she is.
I know it says Hobby Craft but it is the correct kit.
I started with the pit.
While I was thinking as hard as I could I came up with an idea that would make a half way decent harness. So I traced one from an unused pe set onto some Tamiya tape and used the pe buckles.
I also got most of the engine done in the four days I spent on it a little at a time.
Every time I build one of these engines I learn something new.
