Hello all, this is my first tank model I have built. It was one of those cheap testors screw together kits I got just to learn how to paint and weather it but it turned out ok for my first one. This is why it has no emblems on it.

Anything tips or anything you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated. I know I went alil overboard with the mud, but I messed it up at first and by the time I figured it out I had to use so much to get it to look right.

Thanks for looking

Well done for your 1st kit it looks superb only things i could point out that could help you is watch where your mud splatters go sometimes splatters in the wrong places can make a model loose its realism i spend along time studying ref photos its a great way of understanding how to do weathering apart from that your kicking some serious butt ;)

very good indeed although I am still learning to do weathering myself I do know what Dan is meaning of where mud splatters will end up on vehicles in the field. for that photos and videos are great.

Thanks for the suggestions guys I will definitely get some reference photos to use for my next build.

looks great so far, be sure to stop in the reference section of the forum, there are some sherman images there but don't discount other references such as bulldozers that you may pass or oil stains on trucks, learning to weather is about technique and observation.
