I don't think that's a bad bit of figure painting at all
I don't think it's bad either, but I also don't think it's all that good :) I can paint figures at sort of intermediate level, though my skill twenty years ago was a bit higher than this — not all that much, but back then I could paint eyeballs. Unfortunately, my hands don't want to cooperate as well anymore so I don't even attempt them at the moment.

Superb work on the BARV, that really does look the business. I think your painting and weathering were excellent, as was the construction.
Thanks. Though technically, the only weathering is the sand on the tracks, bogies and hull front :)

Thanks, I'm really pleased with that one too, not in the lesast because it's a local one for me. Almost exactly 80 years ago, it came ashore about 5 km from where I live, and this is an attempt to build a model of the tank as it was photographed and filmed when it did so.
