Flu Bug

One heck of a flu bug going around. I've not had the flu in years but whatever they released on us this time got me. But at least I will have developed an immunity to it. I think I'm on the backside of it now. Everything from fever, achey joints and muscles, coughing, runny nose, sore throat, heck for two days my teeth even hurt. Been going on 4 days now. The wife got it too and these type things always hit her hard, I guess she has a weaker immune system than I. A lot of folks here in my area of Missouri have been hit with it. It wipes you out pretty darn good. First day I've been able to sit at my desk and looks like I'm gonna have to go back to the couch now, like any flu or cold it really drains your energy. Hope no one else is having to deal with it and if you are my prayers are with you.

She was in worst shape than me and she's usually the strongest . Yes I live here in Missouri at the Foothills of the Ozarks in the "Lead Belt Country" and it's hit hard here too our local Dollar General closed for one day because of it. Today is the best live felt so hang in there.

Thanks and glad you got through it. I'm doing much better today actually up and moving around but it kept me planted for several days. The wife is coming around too. Funny my wife started feeling it on Sunday as well and it showed up for me Monday evening but hit me like a brick Tuesday. Getting better just in time for some nasty winter weather heading in Tuesday. Life, if it ain't one thing it's another.

Yesterday marks the beginning of my third week with this. No more symptoms (they ended a week ago), just general fatigue. I'm constantly tired. Hopefully this week ends the whole thing.
