I built a Dora a long time ago, they definitely had some complex camo, and many examples had parts/panels/components replaced, sometimes with bare metal. But as long as you are not going "Yellow-10" (and you are not with the red-stripes) then the upper camo shouldn't be too bad.

(few Luftwaffe examples had 3+ colors on the underside, but you did choose a hard one)

Love the build, and love the pics... what sort of set up do you have for the photo shoots? .. ....assuming great lighting in addition to cyclorama, or do you 'shop them as well?

No worries!
In 1967, I was in grade 3, and had to learn measurements all over again!
Canadians got subjected to mass conversion, and I don't mean in our places of worship! For a while there, we had conversion charts on everything from pocket protectors to fridge magnets to binder sleeves.
Today it is pretty much a hybrid system, they had to back off in the construction industry, so its 2x4s and 4x8s, and 1 oz shot glasses and 30ml medicine cups.
The only real time it gets confusing is when I drive into the US, and the speed limit drops from 100 to 60!
So thanks for the written reply; and if you ever have the chance, a behind the scenes pic of your setup would be fantastic too!
Cheers

Were were told in 6th grade (1972) that by the time we were in High School the US would no longer be using the English measurement system.

Metric system does make more sense, it is far easier to calculate/convert. But for someone who grew up with SAE I can estimate visual distances really well to yards/miles, and when the sockets are on the garage floor I can tell by looking if it is 1/4, 5/16, 3/8, 9/16, 1/2. It is also quite intuitive to know where in that matrix a 7/32 socket fits. Plus we have "zero-to-60" times for our cars, and race in 1/4 mile distances, it is child's play to just know that means 1,320 feet, right?

While switching from a fractional system to a system based on decimals does make sense, why does nobody want to convert the time system from a (misjudged) 360-degree circle to one based on 10s/100s/1000s?

I think I have this in my stash, I have a P-47 with some sort of jeep, I might have the 190 as well. Is that cockpit out of the box or some etched parts.....incredible really...I hope to one day go from the model stage to the stage where my work looks like a real miniature aircraft like your's, well done
