Godzilla & Gundam! (complete)

Making some progress on the main build. My desk is not large enough for a build this size... and I need to stop repeating that mistake, lol.
I'd like to get this buttoned up, as I'm kind of looking forward to painting the base.

For no good reason I decided to go to the websites on the side of the Godzilla box.
And I wish I would've done that first, lol. I spent too much time reading about Showa Godzilla heights, and measuring kit pieces to figure this was "Approximately" 1:144 since I saw multiple Showa sizes online...

It's not on the box anywhere... but it sure is all over their webpage for it, lol.

I've shown Godzilla a lot of love in this thread, I'll spot light my previously built Gunpla now.
I've wired 3v LEDs throughout, so only it's right leg and arms have full articulation. I did make a custom hand by bashing the ball from this kit onto another hand, and chopping the hand guard for obnoxious wrist articulation. For the lighting I have a single Micro diode, green, in the head and a couple of flickering white diodes in the thrusters of the jump pack.

The 2018 re-tool is FANTASTIC. It's incorporated all of the leg gimmicks from the MG, opening calf for beam saber hilt storage, separate mold knee armor, and knees that let it actually accomplish it's iconic pose w/ 150mm cannon.

This is starting to look like something here.

I like the sturdiness and articulation of the Bandai stand... But I'm considering replacing it with an acrylic rod.
Any input on that is more than welcome.

I decided to go with neither!

Using a snipped metal coat hanger, with plans to attach cotton for a smoke effect.

Then it's on to water effects on the base, mounting Godzilla, and I think I'll call it done.
(Then Proper pictures, which I'm not always great about getting around to)

*pours epoxy*
"that should do"
*Notices line on bottle*
"Don't use with PVA glue?"
... "What have I done?"
