Hi all, just wanted to create an introductory thread and talk a bit about myself. I'm Landy, or Lando Calrissian, or Landmaster (long story, hence the username). I'm a full time senior college student so for myself my hobby/modeling time is a great escape from being buried under mountains of homework and reading assignments. I love sitting down at my desk with a fresh cup of coffee (which is usually gone cold before I even take a first sip) and modeling.

I'm decidedly more of a figure painter, but have been building and painting aircraft and cars since I was little. Only recently I started getting into armor, largely due to my wargaming background. I'm a relative novice when it comes to scale modeling so a lot of what I post will be my first serious attempts at each subject. I'm also going to try and enter the contest. Mostly for fun, but also for the opportunity to set goals of finishing kits for submission--we've all got a pile of styrene or lead staring at us begging to be finished, I'm sure.

So anywho, I'll cut this long-winded intro there and say I hope to speak with many of you and look forward to exchanging tips, tricks, and inspiration along the way. Once more into the breech dear friends! Cheers ;D

Thanks Grendel! Btw, I saw your video...can't wait to see that Prelude! I drive a 91 Accord wagon, so it'll be like seeing a scale version of my car lol! :)

I got that comment from a few others as well. Just keep in mind that it will NOT be an out of box build. I have plans for the poor little Honda.

Well if it ends up beat up let me know, I can send you a wealth of photos of my "weathered" daily driver haha. Natural chipping effects, dust/rust, the works! ;)

Also, thanks Quaralene! :)

Yeah I am going to beat it up a bit, so a few photos might be nice. I have been on the lookout for them on the road and I have seen a few. But most of them are like new. Thank you for the offer! If you wan you can post them in my build thread.
