Every time I come across gliders while reading/researching, I wanna look the other way...
I mean, piloting a tissue box that can only go down, that can't shoot back, full of gear and soldiers, over water and/or rough terrain, often in the dark, through flak or even small arms fire, into enemy territory. How could that ever end well?
