Hello everyone.
My name is Dave, I'm from Somerset in the UK.
I'm a retired owner operator trucker specialising in trans European perishables & date sensitive freight.
I realised my family were growing up fast so after more than 30yrs in the saddle tramping around Europe & the UK decided to call time on trucking.
European truckin has become so bureaucratic I was finding I was doing more paperwork than driving. I'd also lost the love of the open road & the traffic & delays can be horrendous. I'd had my fun, t'was time to quit.
I'm a country boy through & through, born & grew up on the family farm milking cows, & driving tractors since I was big enough to reach the peddles.
I live with my family in a cottage with a few acres attached on the farm, tending a few animals & sitting on my porch watching the world go by.
As you can guess I've only recently returned to model building so don't expect any flashy builds & tutorials from me.
I'm here to learn.....man, what a steep learning curve I'm on too.
