Hello from Fallon, NV. The real home of Top Gun. I'm the director of the Churchill County museum, and we are hoping to add some wooden, scale models of horse drawn vehicles from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. I've done a fair amount of painting of miniatures ranging from Sci-Fi and fantasy to military from different time periods. From 28mm down to 6mm. I've done some *very* simple diorama stuff, but nothing like what I've seen from you guys. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's work and to picking your brains on insights and suggestions.

Welcome to the Herd, Curator! There are some styrene models of such vehicles, too, though most of them are classic kits, out of production. But those are interesting subjects. I look forward to seeing those builds.
Best regards,
Brad

Hi and welcome to the forum. Love to see your work so plenty of photos please. Pantherman

Thanks for making us feel welcome.

Yep, I've asked the guy who'll be putting it all together to takes lots of pics to document the process.

And as an aside, when you wrote 'Hi and welcome', it reminded me of an old radio show I listened to in the 70s and 80s, called the King Biscuit Flower Hour that started with that exact phrase.

Thanks, Edbert.

You know, I had that same feeling just by noodling around in some of the other forums. Fora?
