I just hope I don't crack the canopy sanding off the mold seam.

Here are the cockpit parts and the kit supplied ESCAPAC seat that I won't be using.

This looks interesting. Makes me wish Revell still produced theirs (old molding and all). I'll be following this.

Contest? I must not know about it. But my builds aren't exactly contest worthy...
 
Olympic principle - the most important part. Give links to your finished model, I see. I have an idea, a thought.

I received the seat in the mail today. The belts are a pain and seem too long. The only modification to make the seat fit is to sand the rear frame parts so the seat will fit. Here is what it looks like before paint.

It's the post about with the cockpit parts picture. The part in the picture is the only seat part.
