Non slip texture....
Items - Liquid cement (slow drying variant), old paintbrush preferably a flat about 5mm wide, sand from a egg timer. masking tape, reference material (Desert Eagle Publications)...
Important - work in small areas at a time, the model shown took over a week for the non-slip.
Use thin strips of the masking tape to mask the gaps between panels and for any areas you do not want the non slip.
Using the cement and flat brush apply enough cement to keep the area wet and working around rivets and boltheads... You can of course use a masking fluid to protect these.
Then sprinkle on the fine sand from the egg timer onto the wet cement... Then turn the model upside down and tap the underside to dislodge any loose sand onto a sheet of printer paper (to use again)...
Repeat this method for the whole model.
Once it is dry you can remove any masking and clean up around bolt heads or rivets with a sharp wooden toothpick.
Hope this helps
Mike.
