Alright guys, I have been talking in my M-ATV build log about how I need a break. So I decided to break out my new Trumpeter LAV-25 kit. I have put in about an hour and a half on this build and it is going so so smooth... I almost forgot what its like to work with a nice kit.

There has been a little flash and a couple areas where the two mold halves didn't meet up perfectly, but def nothing crazy.

Thanks for looking!

Okay, I couldn't stop building...

No fit issues with my kit!!! Going together like a dream! Lower half completely done!

Spud you are so right. I am having so much fun with this kit. I'm not trying to make it perfect, just enjoying the build.

Here I used Norm's method to get the effect:

Top Hull attached to Lower Hull. No major fit issues, a small seam needed to be filled in the back. Took care of it with CA and baking soda.

Here is where is at now. I'm moving along so quick:

Adam, after you finish the M-ATV the kits that you have will only get easier. the kinetic or Panda was already been fore warned, still got a lot of time. ;D

I've been looking at that kit.... on and off ! Glad you find it ! easy going !

Take care buddy ! a little time away from the M-ATV... will be just what the doc. ordered !!!! LOL

Good luck with it !!! So far I am pleased with what I see !

I picke up the kit for 20 bucks. Best 20 bucks ive spent on a kit yet! Norm, you should def pick it up. ;D

Thanks ER. It has been a wicked fun build, I haven't been able to stop working on it. Well, that's not true I had a ton of work to do around the house today and my wife finally gave in to my demands and we got a new grill!!! I decided to try something a little new with this, I primed it was Model Masters flat black enamal. I am still debating on weather I am going to try the salt technique. If so I'll probably lay down some steel in a few places and then go from there. Anyways here's how she looks right now.

Update time. I just got the base coat down. A 30/70 Mix of MM Enamal Armor sand with MM Sand. I like the coloring. :)

There are some mold marks here and there. But I'm really not worried about them as this was really just a "have lots of fun" build.

Thanks for watching!

Still having fun with this one! I started painting the tools today. I'm sure they aren't accurate, but I'm just having fun. I also decided to brush paint the Jerry cans. I traditionally haven't done so great with brush painting so I decided to try it again. They aren't done yet, just a couple thin coats of OD.
