Admittedly, this is "Action" figure work, but it's still taking skills to get done.

With SERIOUS apologies for the craptastic cellphone pic, I give you the latest project.

It's likely to wind up one of the incarnations of my character Roguewing on another forum, but right now is still in rough out.

it's currently the head and body of a Rise of Cobra Scarlett figure with the arms and legs from a Marvel Universe Iron man.

I'll try and get better pics up tonight, and likely change the head.

Okay, let's treat this a little more seriously.

Working on a custom action figure build, based on the Marvel Universe Iron Man figure, and the GIJoe Rise of Cobra Scarlett.

I took the arms and legs from Iron Man, and used the body from Scarlett

We start with a pic of the "leftovers" from the build

Build test one:
This one, using the standard head that came with the Scarlett figure

Build test two:
Using a head purchased from Slayer Design Studio (formerly Trigate Creations)

Build test three:
using the head from the 25th Anniversary Scarlett figure

Not being able to paint outside due to high winds, I did some more custom figures to go with my "Iron Roguewing" from an earlier video.
Left to right:
1. ROC Scarlett arms and legs with a Thundercats-themed torso and head from SDS

Okay, after a long wait, we finally have an update on the custom figures.

We'll start with the "Iron Roguewing" herself.
Head is unchanged, except for a haircut and me painting her hair blonde.
Her armor is Testor's "Purplicious" and gold.
Gave the armor a black wash, then went in with a Q-tip dipped in mineral spirits to remove the wash from the higher areas.
A coat of Future seals the suit.

Okay, second figure from the group.
Her head is still stock from the RoC Scarlett
I painted her main suit, gloves, and boots in black, leaving the rest primer grey.
Added a black wash, and a coat of Future to seal her.

Red here is still a WIP, although her suit is basically done.
I kept it the same red I used for the basecoat, then gave her the black wash/mineral spirit treatment I used on Roguewing.
Still debating what to do with her hair, and I need to do her eyes and lips

Green girl is giving me minor fits, but mostly because I need to figure out how I really want to color her face.

I decided to do the Baroness/Scarlett hybrid as a black woman.
Still debating how I'm going to color her outfit, though

This one's giving me the most headaches.
Not sure I like how the red/Purplicious outfit is turning out. May wind up junking this one
