Btw the casement is made up of separated keyed panels just like the real thing,nice.
You also get a detailed breech unlike the DML A-O.

Hi again
The breech is almost out of sight so it only got a coat of Tamiya white primer and a raw umber wash.
The rest of the interior will be just flat black.

Yeah Rock get the inside painted flat black glue the lid down and get the exterior parts on.

Where did you get the technique for the zimm?

The zimm is Atak resin glued down with Gator Grip glue.

Makes me want to build one of these again....top work and very educational too. Love the weathered gun.

I got a little bit more done since the Daytona NASCAR race was rained out.
I replaced the very thin and fragile Tristar hinges with the unused DML A-O hinges.




Some PE sprue stood in for the missing splatter shield at the front base of the casement.
A wrap of cooper wire for the missing what ever it is. ;D


Weekend is about over for some of us.
