I have been a bit quiet of late on this page, but I have been working as well as trying to iron out my golf swing. Gotta love retirement.
Anyway, here is a Tamiya JS3 or IS3 depending on what you prefer, in 1/35 scale. It was a gift from my son for christmas. To be honest and because he will not see this post, I only like AFV's that featured in WW1 up to and including WW2. I know a few JS3's were produced and tested prior to the end of hostilities in 1945, but none actually took part in any battles. So, this said, I was not very keen to actually do the tank. Especially when I had an early Tiger 1 burning a hole on my modelling desk. Nevertheless, I did not want to disappoint my son so I made it and here it is.
The base I just kept very simple. Actually it was a base I made for a sherman, but didn't like it much. I think it does look ok with the larger JS3 however. What do you think?
