Good work on this so far. Always liked this version of the Batmobile. Not to crazy about the tumbler version for the new movies.

Small progress report on the Batmobile:
Got the seams in the insides of the fins filled with Aves and ready for sanding


Instrument panel was drybrushed with silver.
The steering wheel and column were painted with gunmetal, then the grips were painted in with black


Wheels have been painted with gunmetal and been given a black wash.
They'll likely be drybrushed with silver


Only painted the front of the motor as I'm planning on mounting it inside the car.
Painted gunmetal and given a black wash.
Still awaiting drybrushing with silver

Putty up that divot on the front of the turbine - that's an ejector pin mark.

Last update for this build, folks.
Got the interior assembled and sealed.


Wheels have been drybrushed and sealed. As has the motor (not pictured)


Body has been sealed with two coats of semigloss.



Did some basic detailing on the bottom of the car by drybrushing silver over the base black plastic.
This was then sealed.

This one's a homerun Q. Excellent work. Great finish on it! Good call with the semi-gloss clear coat, just the right amount of sheen. Also, good call losing the chrome. She looks very, very menacing. Great first build for the new year!
