A lot of things need to be finished up on these pieces, just showing you were I am at!!

As just a hint...the AB came out yesterday too!! Laid down some interior base color and hit the engine compartment quickly so I can get the engine deck on!!!

;) Nice Chris!!! ;D

Thank you gentlemen! The encouragement is worth it's weight in gold!

This is an interesting section of the build.... ;)
I began laying base colors to the inside of the tub. There are no pigments used at this point, just getting some tones.

Making damaged suspension and burnt out wheels.

Still working on the turret, need to make up the tracks...yadda yadda yadda! I am moving onto the base rusting of the lower extremities and I will have just way to many coats to go on the interior.

I will have some more pics tomorrow morning!!

Thank you for dropping in!!! ;)

Re: Kitten In A Tree

Have an idea for you, saw it done many moons ago.

Burnt out road wheels - use ashes from a cigar to replicate burnt rubber. They'll come out in a nice curve. The only thing is you'll have to stabilize them in order to place them on the model/ diorama. Perhaps using a flat clear coat and allowing it to soak in prior to placing and positioning?

Just a thought.

Re: Kitten In A Tree

There will be some soot and other things headed into the turret, not that this will be seen but from the right angle....
