KV-1 - Anastasiya

Thanks Buddy!!! Glad to have you along on this one!!! ;D

Inching along here......

After working the chipping end of things last night I began by taking some AK Streaking grime and NOT shaking the container, I began to hit the areas of the KV that appear to be cast steel.

Once hitting each of these "cast" spots I turned to wash/filter shifting.

Using a few different washes, combinations and degrees of thinned out consistency I hit the panels running.

Appreciate it guys!! :) :) :)

Spud...just having a little fun with this! Not try to confuse ::) OK...maybe just misdirect for a little bit! Keeps it interesting, Hmm? ;)

Thanks Tony!! nope...not colored blind! (from what I can see from here) ;D

Your getting a great effect on that turret. It's really looks like heavy IRON!

Very Nice TRM…vary nice. Your finish is tops and am looking forward to more updates….That there AK stuff seem quite popular these dayz… ;D

Thanks for stopping in Erik!! Glad your digging it! Sweet vid Dude!! Great for the morning coffee!!!

Thank you errains! AK is a great tool!! Wide selection of items which is great. I tend to use them a lot for pin washes and such. Same qualities as oils except they can be manipulated "down the road". Oils you can touch up in a couple days maybe, if there is something you do not like. AK....a week...2, virtually until you decide to add a clear coat you can move things, color shift and so on.

Thanks again guys for stopping in. I managed to get the suspension arms on last night. I hope to snap a couple pics later on of where I am at. ;)

Looking top quality bud love the paint work looks like a two tone beast keep it up

Awesome job

Especially love the streaking and the rust spots, an't wait to see the end result

Thank you gentlemen!! ;) Slowing up just for a moment while I work on another project and finish yet another!! Hope to have some road wheel on tonight maybe ::)

Nice looking test-bed project. To tell the truth, only through experimenting and ,mostly
mistakes is how I learn something dramatically new. Good luck.

Thanks for the kind words PZMan!! ;)

Hey fellas! In an effort to progress forward. I laid down a light dull coat to tone things back a bit and installed the suspension.

Figured I would pop the turret on the see how she sits...

Now onto some wheels/sprockets...tracks and a little playtime!!!

Thanks for stopping by!! ;)

The satin finish really adds to the 'iron' look of the model. Not to mention the painstaking chipping, washes, filters, etc. that you've put into this. I'd be proud of this.

Thak you ND!! So far, no complaints. Hope the wheels adn track look the part once they are on. (maybe tonight!!) ::)

Stunning work my friend ....Stunning .....nowt more I can say !!! :)

Chris.
