Little Chickie

Are the building and cobblestone roadway kits, or did you scratch built?
Either way, I really like them them.

I used Miniart products for dioramas in the past. Buildings, lamppost, fences, doors, etc......They make some good products, but I'll bet the satisfaction of making it yourself feels pretty good.
Oh, I especially like the look of your wood door and shutters.

Thank you Kevin, I only used pre made building sets in two dios and they were very early projects.
They were Verlinden products and were from the early 80s. or late 70s
The dioramas "The Battle for Berlin" and "Winter of Discontent". which are in the diorama forum
are those examples which were built in the early 80s.

Iconic Verlinden products for sure, any other structural elements in future dios were all scratched up from then on.
The diorama "Anybody Home?" was my most fun and satisfying scratch build, 1/4 inch styrofoam board
is a great bas-relief canvas to let your imagination run wild, any old thing will do to make your impressions
I like and old carpenter's pencil with a dull point, I like it because not only does it make the desired impressions
but it also makes it's mark which makes them more visible.

Jim.
