I've been looking at everyone's excellent work, decided to pull out a kit and start it... finally. Took advantage of my daughter's Harry Potter movie marathon.

It's a pretty simple kit, close to done with probably about 2 hours total effort. I haven't really put an armor model this small together before (1:72), I think I would have done it better sitting at my table with a strong light and some patience but I guess I'll see how it looks after some paint is on it.

Felt good to finally start one, I'm betting it will feel even better to complete it!

Very nice advantage taken CS!! Looking good too!! Weather this puppy up!!! All those rivets are just going to pop!!!! ;)

:) Mmmm... atypical subject !

It must be a really small model... planning a Dio / Vignette with her??

At first sight it seems that has a pretty decent level of detail... :)
Keep posting!

Very nice :) Looking forward to the paint .

Chris.

I am going to put this into a diorama, I'm thinking of picking up one of those Woodland Scenics landscape kits (the mountain one, probably) and playing around with that. I have another Mark IV (Male version) to put together so perhaps I'll put them both on the same dio.

I think I'll be ready to paint by Friday, I've got some seams to fill and I need to do an overall cleanup on the surface.

I'll post some more photos tomorrow or Wednesday once I've made some more progress.

Thanks Gents
