I'll start posting stuff I have found around the garden/neighbourhood which can be used for diorama making. You have no excuse to buy generic P.E! ;D

My latest find. Found these little guys on the beach this morning. Perfect for 1:35 ferns, after a bit of paint.



A nice little shoot which could be used to represent bamboo.

Good call! They'd be perfect for a prehistoric display, too, they look like horsetail reeds.

Hey mate, you most probably do! Just pay attention when you next go-a-gardening.

The secret is just to keep an eye open. I live in Western Australia, stereotypically a barren countryside, yet there really is heaps to find!
