Like the build, it's looking great. I will have to start awarding trophies to new members of the Pantherman neat freak club !!!!Tanker is ready for decals.
Pantherman, made a clear spot for you.
It's just too small for us poor sighted old boys. 1/35 works for me as not to small to work on but small enough so as not to take up too much display space. After I am done with this, you'd be hard pressed to find me working in 1/72 again.....
Yes, Airfix. Bifocals I use are split with reading on top with +1.50 extra in the reading area.My apologies if this was mentioned and I missed it, but is the support vehicle set the Airfix set? They look good!
As as far as working in 1/72 goes, I find that the magnification I use makes it work-an Optivisor knock-off, and cheap reading glasses (3x magnification) from the drug store. Good lighting helps, too, general area and focused lighting.
Looks really good!A bit more progress, time has been scarce.
Geez and I thought 1:12 is difficult..nice 1:72 !Save for a few minor details, bomb truck is pretty much set.
Nice job! I've been looking for this Gal in 1/48, no luck so far.In the process of building the Academy 1:72 Memphis Belle with ground support vehicles for a small diorama.
I think Revell has a 1:48, check Sprue BrothersNice job! I've been looking for this Gal in 1/48, no luck so far.
Thnx, I just Re-Googled it and just now bought a kit from HK on HobbyLinc. Really nice one, very detailed. Don't know why it didn't appear in my initial search. Maybe the Bourbon Goggles clouded my vision! LOLI think Revell has a 1:48, check Sprue Brothers
