MENG 1/35 Ah-64d Saraf

That's gonna be a big bird!
Colours look great.. Can't wait to see the masks come off!

And your thumb camo could be the start of the next big thing!

I honestly didn't think it was going to be this big being a helicopter and all. Cuz I think 132nd sized jets are way too big, but 1/32 prop airplanes are just about right. But so far it's a fun build

I'll bet you will find all that effort will be worth it when you view the completed project.
Keep up the good work:)

Still quite a bit to do but I thought I would give an update. Decals are mainly done on the body and wings and such. So it got another coat of gloss to lock in the decals and then you can handle it a lot less gingerly if you know what I mean? Where did that darn decal go? I know I stuck it on 5 minutes ago WTH? And you find it when you brush your teeth at night. Anyways. Still got landing gear to do the chain gun the pilots and all the little fiddly parts that attach to the body like hand holds and stuff like that. All that stuff needs to be built along with the rotors and weapons and all the decals that go on them. Having fun and have fun. Just remember when you view these pictures? In this household we consider dog hair a condiment

Thanks everyone. I just don't know whether to really dirty it up or just kind of get it Dusty? Especially when I'm not that good at weathering yet. So I went to Andy's earlier today and I bought this black base primer gloss. Never tried it and I wanted to try it like underneath their aluminum or something probably should make it pop? So just for the heck of it and I decided to use the All-Clad on my pilots and Gunner and see how they turn out. Andy must have bought out a hobby shop or something that dealt in model cars. Because he had hundreds of all old kits in there. I should have spent my money on at least two or three that caught my eye but I opted for a border models zero as my next build

I'm no aircraft guy, but if anything, I would just add a minimum of wear, like where the crew frequently step, and a hint of fuel streaks/grime if appropriate.
