Modelling Gloves

In general medical and food prep people tend to use Latex since it is effective against pathogens and a bit more tactile response and sensitivity for detailed work
Biggest downside is they offer little to no protection against chemicals/solvents in most industrial or even hobby situations

Nitrile is better if you are are working with chemicals, oils, solvents, acids, greases etc... and is generally more puncture resistant as well. These for example would be worn more by mechanics, painters etc...

Look. They are cheap disposable gloves. All they're meant for is to put on your hand paint something that you might get paint on your hand and you rip it off and throw it away. Yes. If you soak your hand in lacquer thinner it's going to eat it up. They're not meant to wear all day and to be super sensitive for small parts that's not what they're meant for. They're just cheap disposable latex gloves. Let's quit overthinking things

If the purpose is just to prevent paint getting on your hands, then yes, any gloves will do that

For anyone using 3D printing resins/alcohol bathes or oil painting with mineral spirits/turpentine, the distinction between latex and nitrile as far as chemical resistance and puncture resistance is very important.

I use a dishwashing glove when holding parts while painting. It's reusable and has lasted almost a year.
When I am using chemicals I wear nitrile gloves.
