Welcome to the Herd, Moose!
Yeah, I have the same problem, buying kits. And I'll never finish the ones I have, nor have space to display them.
I look forward to seeing those builds of yours!
Best regards,
Brad

Welcome aboard!!

Hey, I'm going on 73 and I'm still buying kits. My only defense is that most of them are to replace older, unbuilt kits with a better kit. (The older kits get donated.)

Moosevf32, I also share your affliction. Once upon a time I had 750 or so kits (rank amatuer, I know). I realized that I would need to work at them for at least 30 hours a week and live to be 150 or so to stand a chance of building them all. I would also need to move to an adandoned warehouse to display them all. Getting divorced is a given ;)

I had managed to sell my collection down to around 400 by selling off any doubles and kits I no longer had projects for or wanted to build. Of course we all know that this situation wouldn't remain. I'm back to 450ish and the biggest reason why is all the new kits out that I never imagined ever seeing, the rat bastards.

Fortunately or unfortunately depending on your point of view, I am pretty much retired due to medical issues and live on a limited disability pension that will shrink even further whence I reach that magical 65th year. This state of affairs has severely curtailed my purchases of new kits so I have come to the stark realization that I must give up my eternal quest for new and exciting kits and solely rely on building that which I now have to get my plastic fix. It really sucks but it is what it is. Who know, maybe this new mind set will allow me to finish more kits as I won't have those bright and shiny new kits to distact me. Of course if any of you believe that, I know of some great beachfront property down New Mexico way, lovely beaches.

Welcome, eh?!

Talk about yer afflictions... check out my collection of fuel and water cans! This is an older photo when I lined them all up... there are many more since (sigh)
The good news is that whenever I need to accessorize, there is a good chance I have just the ticket, ready to go!
I now have hardware cases with these, and other types of accessories, sorted and on standby.
It is lucky I chose to build all in the same theater and timeframe.
