Bought a few weeks ago. Now being de-chromed, awaiting Gloss Black paint! Some parts escaped the dip but no more. I hate scraping chrome off to get a connection, so it's all in the oven cleaner.

Well I wouldn't say fun, poor fitting of parts, opening up contact holes, Although now stripped of chrome as it was far too thick and parts too small to file chrome off.

Fun as in challenging. I like a good challenge. But I know what you mean. Delicate and brittle parts too.

We don't see many here in the UK.

The buggy chassis and body are together but just as in a barn find the rear truck body is very rusty!

The van body is on,. although not a good fit.(look when doors open) Doors on and working, windscreen is another thing? Too high! So cut a plastic to fit and build frame around it next time. Look closely at the last photo to see the edge of the cut plastic screen.

I couldn't visualize where you were going on the rusty cab earlier, but now I see it. That looks awesome.
